Charvell Collie puppies are the result of a carefully planned breeding.  The puppies are born and raised in my home.  They are given the best care with lots of socialization. 

Ideally we do puppy eye examinations at seven weeks of age.   We drive to Calgary (200 km) to have eyes examined by a CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) board certified veterinarian ophthalmologist.  We have great eye checks as I’ve always considered eyes an important component of the Charvell Collies breeding program.   Many of the Charvell bred Collies are normal eyed.  They either have CERF numbers or are eligible to be CERF certified

At eight to nine weeks of age the puppies have a health examination by a Veterinarian and the first set of puppy shots.  At the same time the puppies are microchipped for permanent identification.  The chip number is registered with the Canadian Kennel Club so it can be traced to the purchaser. 

A Charvell Collie  adoption includes the following:

1. A written health guarantee.
2. Results of the Veterinary Ophthalmologist eye examination and health exam.
3. An information package.
4. Canadian Kennel Club Registration.
5. Continual support by the breeder for the lifetime of the puppy.
